14.Importance of reading

 

Reading us a habit that can make us all better person. Reading gives us knowledge abd inspiration. It makes us smart. There are numerous examples of great people who emphasize on reading for a good abd successful life. 

Long ago, people read stories from palm leaves, and handwritten books. They sat under trees or by candlelight, carefully turning pages. Only a few people had books abd reading was a special skill.

The printing changed everything. Books become cheaper abd more people could read. Families shared stories by reading together. Newspapers and magazines borough daily news.

Now reading is different. People use phones, tabs abd e books. Instead of tuning pages they scroll screens. Audio books let  them listen while travelling. Even with all these changes one thongs remains the same stories still take us to new world.


Books have changed the world and the people  who read them have  achieved great success. First let's see about Dr. J. P. J  Abdul kalam the former president of India. He loved reading from a young age. Books on science a d history helped him become a great scientist and leader. He always said " Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, Thinking provides knowledge, knowledge makes you great.

Next is Bil gates the co founder of Microsoft. Even though he is one of the richest people in the world. He still reads about 50 books every year. He says that books help him learn new things and improve his ideas. Reading helped him Build a company that changed the world.

So let's embrace the magic of reading not just as a habit, but as a way of life. Because the more we read, the more we growing and in the words of Dr. Seuss " The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn the more places you'll go ”...

Let's keep turning the pages and discovering the endless possibilities that books have of offer.
